About Lightspeed

An iPad POS for the dining room, the counter and the table

Lightspeed Restaurant, the K-Series range, is an iPad POS that suits a café as well as a large brasserie or a restaurant group. Floor plans, menus, kitchen tickets and checkout adapt to the way you work, and your servers take orders and payments right at the table on an iPhone.

  • Payments built into the POS, with Tap to Pay on iPhone, Apple Pay and Google Pay
  • An offline mode to keep taking payments without an internet connection
  • Multi-location management and a connection to hotel PMS

From POS to margins

How does the Lightspeed K-Series integration work?

  • Your sales flow in from the POS

Once connected, sales from every restaurant flow into Yokitup automatically, product by product, with no export or re-entry.

  • Your stock updates

Combined with your recipe cards, sales give the consumption of every raw material. Yokitup works out the theoretical stock of each restaurant from it.

  • Your orders are suggested

Based on your past sales and your stock, Yokitup forecasts your needs and suggests the quantities to order from each supplier.

  • Your variances and margins are tracked

By comparing theoretical stock with your inventory counts, you spot variances and track your food cost and margins, restaurant by restaurant.

Groups and brasseries

From brasserie to international group

Lightspeed works just as well for a brasserie as for a group spread across several cities or countries. Yokitup tracks each location and consolidates the group's results. Nouvelle Garde and Tigermilk, in Paris as in London, or Dalia Group with its central kitchen, use Lightspeed and Yokitup together.

Each location in its own currency

Your restaurants abroad work in their own currency, time zone and language, and you keep a consolidated view of the whole group.

Locations compared with each other

Food cost, waste, purchasing and stock variances are compared from one restaurant to the next, with a dashboard for each location and one for the group.

A menu managed dish by dish

Sales of each dish, combined with the cost of its recipe, show what your menu really earns. You adjust your prices with full knowledge of the facts.
